CLASSICAL V BELTS
Conception:
Endless V-belts are made of:
- Synthetic rubber which guarantees a constant hardness.
- Polyester cord with controlled elasticity and high capacity of traction.
- Single wrapping (for Z, A and B sections) and double wrapping (for C and D sections) impregnated with polychloroprene compound which resists heat, oil, abrasion and ozone.
General specifications:
- Useful temperature: -20 to + 80 degrees of Celsius.
- Antistatics following the standard NF T 47 104.
- V-belt sections according the standard E 24 - 213.
- Resistant to oil projection, hydrocarbure and dilute acids, approved by API (American petroleum institute).
- Endure centrifugal strength.
- All sizes match.
Performance:
- Performance of 95%
- Optimum performance is obtained when linear speed is between 30 m/s and 33 m/s
MOULDED NOTCH CLASSICAL SECTION V BELTS
These belt is build for excellent performance on the heavy-duty Z, A, B and section industrial drives. Technologically, it is a first class product, combining a raw edge construction with classical section V-belt advantages. The raw edge construction makes this belt especially suited for the drives that require small diameter pulleys and back idlers.
The extensive size range covers numerous heavy-duty applications on industrial pumps, compressors, machine tools etc.
Construction:
- Raw edge construction, ground.
- Classical cross section.
- Molded notches reduce an evenly distribute thermal and bending stress. The moulded notch pattern also reduces noise.
- Precision ground straight sidewalls give a uniform wedging action and ensure that the belt fits correctly in the pulley grooves and makes even contact.
- Flex-bonded tensile cords are vulcanized as one solid unit making the belt highly resistant to tensile and flexing forces, fatigue and shock loads.
- Polychloroprene compound protects the belt against heat, ozone, sunlight and weathering.
- Non self-igniting. The belt will not catch fire from heat buildup, even with severe slippage.
- Static conductive (ISO 1813)
Advantages:
- Excellent performance/cost ratio.
- Rabidity and efficiency.
- Long belt life reducing replacement and maintenance costs.
- All sizes match.
Note:
Belts with the molded notch profile available only until 3000 mm.
MULDED NOTCHED NARROW SECTION V BELTS
Molded notch V-belts put more power where high speeds ratios and small pulleys are required, thus offering significant advantages over classical section v-belts. This belt is highly recommended for use on all industrial heavy-duty, narrow section v-belt drives. Avaliable types are XPZ, XPA, XPB and XPC.
Its increased transmission efficiency allows more compact design and highly economical drive design.
Construction:
- Raw edge construction, ground.
- Narrow cross section.
- Molded notches reduce an evenly distribute thermal and bending stress. The molded notch pattern also reduces noise.
- Precision ground straight sidewalls give a uniform wedging action and ensure that the belt fits correctly in the pulley grooves.
- Allows use of back idlers.
- More power in the same space or same power in 1/3 or 1/2 space compared to classical section V-belts.
- Cost and space savings by reducing size of pulleys, bearings, guards and mounts.
- Improved belt life reducing expensive maintenance time.
- All sizes match.
Note:
Belts with the molded notch profile available only until 3000 mm.
